Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 11. November 2017

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Today over at Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing  a tealight card with you. Sorry, this picture is a bit blurry but on this one you can see the lit up background but also the colors of the card a bit, even if those are toned down. I crawled under my desk in the corner that was the darkest to take this pic and I wasn't able to get a better one down there... ;)

This is what the card looks like in normal daylight. I used silver-grey and icy blue cardstock.
These cute dies are by Charlie und Paulchen. When I made this card some time ago I didn't have today's date in mind - and just by chance I used those kids with their lanterns. It's St. Martin today here in Germany, where kids with lanterns walk through the streets. So that's a perfect fit!
I used a white gelly marker to add some snowflakes to the scene.
I decorated my card with glitter silver stars and a silver mini bell.

And here you can see the lit up card in a complete dark room. I was looking for a way to make the houses and the kids visible when the card is lit up. So I used copy paper to die cut the houses from. Since this  is a quite thin paper the light shines through a little. Then I put the kids die cut from dark drey cardstock on top of that.
